Business Consultant – IT Implementation Specialist

About the role

As a Business Consultant you will lead complex IT implementations for our clients, combining strong consulting expertise with hands‑on delivery. You will work closely with client stakeholders, internal delivery teams and developers to ensure successful go‑lives, long‑term adoption and measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementations of enterprise software solutions across multiple business units.
• Act as the primary trusted advisor during implementation and post‑go‑live phases.
• Define scope, processes, interfaces and milestones together with the client.
• Translate business requirements into clear IT and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings and calls with business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate with developers and internal teams to deliver on time, in full and within budget.
• Support system configuration, user setup and data migration activities.
• Deliver Train‑the‑Trainer sessions to ensure client self‑sufficiency.
• Identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain post‑go‑live engagement to resolve issues and maximize ROI.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in IT consulting, digital transformation or ERP implementation.
• Professional fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Proven ability to work in client‑facing, project‑based environments.
• University Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
