Business Controller – 1-year Parental Cover

About the role

flaconi is seeking a Business Controller for a one‑year parental‑cover contract. You will partner closely with department leads to manage resources, oversee reporting, and support planning activities while driving process improvements across the business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operational teams in resource management and objective monitoring.
• Own the reporting for the assigned business unit and support financial planning.
• Collaborate with accounting and financial controlling on forecasts, business planning, and KPI tracking.
• Lead projects and work packages, questioning existing processes and developing new controlling tools.
• Analyse cost drivers, follow up with business units, and ensure timely ad‑hoc reporting.
• Continuously improve reporting and planning processes, design blueprints and manage their implementation.

Required profile

• Completed studies in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Controlling or FP&A, preferably in a dynamic logistics environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Independent, motivated, and team‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Good knowledge of finance and reporting tools.
