Business & Operations Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Business & Operations Auditor to lead and execute audits across our insurance business and operational units, with a strong emphasis on international entities within the Group. You will work closely with senior decision‑makers, including board members, to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and perform audits in insurance business, product development, underwriting, claims handling, HR and other operational areas.
• Assess internal control systems against IIA standards and evaluate their effectiveness across the Group.
• Analyse complex processes, provide recommendations and follow up on action‑plan implementation.
• Introduce innovative audit techniques, including data‑analytics and AI‑based approaches.
• Collaborate with international colleagues and travel regularly for on‑site audits.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Professional audit experience, preferably in insurance operations and regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking abilities.
• International mindset, openness to new perspectives and willingness to travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German or additional languages are a plus.
