Buyer – Powersports Apparel

About the role

Based at our headquarters in Germany, you will lead the purchasing function for our powersports apparel range. You will develop and execute buying strategies, negotiate with suppliers and ensure that inventory levels match corporate policies and warehouse capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, improve and implement optimal purchasing strategies and concepts.
• Negotiate prices, terms and conditions with suppliers and oversee contract implementation.
• Conduct market analysis and forward‑plan purchase quantities to align stock with warehouse capacity.
• Manage vendor relationships, review product assortments and recommend additions or deletions.
• Coordinate all purchasing activities, process provider reclamations and place orders using our ERP forecast system.
• Maintain purchasing data such as product availability, vendor policies and costs.
• Support catalogue production by acquiring and updating product information.

Required profile

• Completed commercial or technical training with at least two years of experience purchasing technical products.
• Strong technical understanding and in‑depth knowledge of the European powersports market, preferably in the apparel segment.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Assertive negotiator with a cost‑conscious mindset.
• Highly organized with strong self‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (forecasting and order management).
