CAT-B2 Avionics Technician (m/f/d)

About the role

Jetfly Technik GmbH, the maintenance centre for Pilatus aircraft in Zweibrücken, is looking for a CAT‑B2 Avionics Technician. The role involves performing both scheduled and unscheduled avionics maintenance on business‑aviation aircraft, ensuring compliance with EASA Part‑145 standards and maintaining airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with EASA Part‑145 requirements.
• Identify malfunctions, troubleshoot, and execute corrective actions on avionics and electrical systems.
• Assemble, install, and test electrical components and avionics equipment.
• Update the AMOS maintenance system with accurate activity, component, and man‑hour data.
• Release aircraft to service after maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance and continued airworthiness.
• Report progress, defects, technical issues and any delays promptly.
• Maintain tools in good condition and keep the work environment clean, organized and safe.
• Supervise and guide CAT‑A Technicians as required.

Required profile

• Holder of an EASA Part‑66 Category B2 licence (Category A licence is a plus).
• Human Factors, Part‑145, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety training (initial or refresher).
• Strong electrical and avionics technical knowledge with proven experience on complex aircraft systems.
• Significant experience in aircraft maintenance; knowledge of EASA Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014 and Part‑145 is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of PC network technologies.
• Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
