Construction Handyman – Gigafactory Berlin

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Construction Handyman to support the building and maintenance activities at Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin. You will work on a fast‑paced, high‑volume site, helping the construction team deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of construction tasks across the Gigafactory to assist the construction team.
• Escalate issues promptly to the construction team lead.
• Carry out mechanical assembly, welding, and plumbing of water connections.
• Install and maintain air‑line and pneumatic piping systems.
• Handle transport, logistics and unloading of heavy equipment and materials.
• Relocate machines, tools, production lines and storage units as required.
• Assemble and dismantle partition walls, fencing and other protective structures, following documentation.
• Paint steel structures and mineral surfaces.
• Install lintels, foil curtains and tarpaulins.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, telehandlers (Manitou), scissor lifts, claw boosters and spider cranes.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to work weekends and night shifts.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow standards.
