Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will be based in the project office during the engineering phase, leading the planning, organization and budgeting of construction and maintenance activities. This role ensures that all work meets the highest safety, quality, environmental and cost standards while supporting the overall project strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop construction strategies and detailed execution schedules for the engineering phase.
• Coordinate with clients, project management and internal services to define reporting procedures.
• Review capital estimates, schedules and designs for constructability and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and issue the Construction Execution Plan, including prefabrication and modularisation requirements.
• Lead site organization, staffing plans and supervise construction specialists to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Provide technical construction support to other site functions and ensure safe shutdowns, relocations and tie‑ins.
• Participate in labour studies, manpower sourcing and industrial relations planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale construction projects within engineering, mining, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Ability to develop and implement detailed construction schedules and budgets.
• Excellent coordination skills with clients, project teams and external stakeholders.
