Construction Manager – Pharmaceutical Facility

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a sterile fill‑finish facility in Germany. You will oversee all site construction activities, ensuring compliance with German standards, GMP requirements, and EHS regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction across cleanrooms, MEP, HVAC, utilities and GMP production areas.
• Support installation interfaces for filling lines, isolators/RABS, lyophilisation, visual inspection and packaging zones.
• Ensure work aligns with German construction standards, GMP expectations and EHS requirements.
• Control construction risks, permits, method statements, quality issues and change control.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors and site teams, overseeing planning, sequencing, logistics, safety and progress tracking.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, CQV, Quality, EHS, Automation and Operations teams.
• Assist with commissioning, qualification readiness and handover activities.

Required profile

• Proven construction management experience on pharmaceutical, biotech or other regulated facility projects.
• Track record delivering cleanrooms, GMP production areas or sterile manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of German construction standards, contractor management and site safety.
• Understanding of fill‑finish facility requirements, cleanroom zoning, hygienic finishes and contamination control.
• Fluent in German and English.
