Controller – Finance & Operations

About the role

As a Controller at Vectoflow you will ensure financial transparency and performance tracking across production and operations. Working at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing and management, you will provide data‑driven insights that support the transition from prototype to serial production in a high‑tech aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse production KPIs such as output, efficiency and cost development.
• Build transparency on product and project costs, margins and profitability.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with a strong focus on operations and cash flow.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Identify cost drivers and improvement potentials within production and the supply chain.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure accurate cost allocation and BOM understanding.
• Support pricing and business decisions through cost and profitability analysis.
• Continuously improve data flows and reporting within the ERP system.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of controlling experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high‑tech or special machinery.
• Strong understanding of production processes, cost structures and product profitability.
• Hands‑on experience with BOMs, production data and operational KPIs.
• Fluency in English and German.

Required skills

• ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills.
