Country Communications Specialist – Digital & Internal

About the role

ABB is looking for a proactive Country Communications Specialist to shape digital and internal communications for its German operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the company’s online presence, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, and supporting ABB’s reputation as a clean‑energy leader.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage ABB Germany’s digital communication platforms, including website, social media, intranet, Viva Engage and infoscreens.
• Create, localise and distribute content for employee and external audiences on corporate and reputation‑relevant topics.
• Track channel performance, analyse data and continuously optimise digital assets.
• Advise internal stakeholders on suitable communication formats and audience engagement strategies.
• Support reputation‑management initiatives and handle administrative tasks such as purchasing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in digital communications, social media, web management or internal communications.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in German; good command of English.
• Strong collaboration, project‑management and analytical abilities.
