Customer Service Assistant – Remote (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Assistant to join CIPEM’s remote team in Germany. Working part‑time (25 hours per week) you will help manage customer orders and act as a liaison between customers, suppliers and internal departments, ensuring a smooth end‑to‑end process.

Key responsibilities

• Process and follow up customer orders in line with contract terms.
• Maintain and develop strong, trusting relationships with customers.
• Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, carriers, sales teams and internal departments.
• Prepare pro‑forma invoices, invoices and credit notes, handling disputes when necessary.
• Answer incoming calls, provide basic information or redirect inquiries.
• Keep accurate administrative records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and update department procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in International Business, Sales Administration or a related field (preferred).
• First experience in customer service, administration or commercial support.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and proactive team player.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP (advantageous).
