Data Analytics Internship

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analytics Intern to support a high‑priority engagement with a leading German logistics and infrastructure provider. Working remotely within Braun Management’s analytical team, you will turn fragmented logistics data into clear narratives that guide executive decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and clean data from various logistics and asset‑management systems to ensure accuracy.
• Identify patterns of operational delay or resource‑allocation issues within the client’s infrastructure network.
• Prepare structured reports summarising data findings for lead consultants.
• Assist in building performance models that clarify accountability across business units.
• Maintain internal documentation to keep analytical processes repeatable and transparent.
• Support the creation of basic data visualisations for executive audiences.
• Collaborate with the consulting team using asynchronous communication tools to refine analysis based on client feedback.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in data‑analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or basic Python.
• Interest in the mechanics of complex business systems and large organisations.
• Disciplined approach to data cleaning and verification.
• Ability to write clear, logical explanations of technical findings for non‑technical audiences.
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Academic background in mathematics, statistics, economics or a related analytical field.
• Willingness to engage with incomplete or messy data sets.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple data tasks within project timelines.
