Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Pipelines

About the role

Redcare Pharmacy is looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimise data pipelines that power its Data & AI initiatives. You will work with cloud‑native technologies to transform large datasets and enable teams across the organisation to extract actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance scalable data pipelines and support the evolution of the data architecture.
• Utilise Azure services, Databricks, and big‑data tools (Spark, Kafka, Flink) to process and transform large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Apply CI/CD practices to data projects to improve workflow efficiency and deployment reliability.
• Monitor and improve performance, scalability, and data quality of existing pipelines.

Required profile

• Approximately 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or similar) and big‑data tools such as Spark or Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
• Enjoys collaborative, learning‑focused environments and continuous skill development.
