Data Engineer – Cloud & AI Solutions

About the role

As a Data Engineer at Redcare Pharmacy, you will design and implement robust data pipelines that power our Data & AI initiatives in digital healthcare. You will work with cutting‑edge cloud technologies to enable fast, reliable insights across finance, e‑commerce, pharma and supply‑chain domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and data architecture on Azure.
• Develop cloud‑native solutions using Databricks, Unity Catalog and Delta Lake.
• Create and maintain DBT models for data transformation and quality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Apply CI/CD and DevOps best practices to improve performance, scalability and security.
• Share knowledge and contribute to a strong data culture within the team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and data management.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure or another public cloud platform.
• Strong expertise in DBT and SQL for data modelling.
• Solid experience with Databricks, Spark and Unity Catalog.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Scala or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus.
