Data Engineer – Cloud & AI Solutions

About the role

Redcare Pharmacy is looking for a Data Engineer to design and optimise robust data pipelines that power our Data & AI initiatives. You will work on cloud‑native solutions that enable transformative insights for digital healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and architecture.
• Develop cloud‑native data solutions using Azure, Databricks (Unity Catalog & Delta Lake) and related big‑data technologies.
• Create and maintain DBT models across finance, e‑commerce, pharma and supply‑chain domains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Apply CI/CD practices and continuously improve performance, scalability and security.
• Promote a strong data culture through knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and data management.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure or another public cloud platform.
• Strong expertise in DBT and SQL for data modelling and analysis.
• Solid experience with Databricks (Spark, Unity Catalog).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Scala or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Understanding of business domains, preferably e‑commerce.
• Motivated to work in an innovative, fast‑moving environment.
