Data Scientist – Housing Data Products

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Housing team and transform rich real‑world housing data into trusted products and market insights. You will work at the intersection of product, business and market intelligence, helping both consumers and real‑estate professionals make better decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop housing data products such as valuation tools, realtor lead‑generation maps and sold‑property comparison dashboards.
• Produce market insights, barometers and ad‑hoc studies that position the brand as a market reference.
• Validate and stress‑test analytical results, ensuring they are robust and make real‑world sense.
• Translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with economists, product managers, data engineers and business teams from idea to impact.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborative spirit, ownership and an action‑oriented approach.
• Desire to influence decision‑making through data rather than merely providing data.

Required skills

• Python (intermediate) – pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn.
• SQL (basic) – data extraction, joins, aggregation.
• Statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, regression and predictive modelling.
• Clustering, econometrics fundamentals and panel‑data intuition.
• Data cleaning, transformation, exploratory analysis and reproducible workflows (scripts, notebooks, versioning).
