Design and Construction Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Join Amazon's Construction Execution team as a Design and Construction Manager. You will independently lead complex construction projects for delivery stations and fulfillment centers across EMEA, balancing design, budgeting, and on‑site execution while traveling between Germany, Poland, and other European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex construction projects from concept to completion.
• Own project budgets, costs, and comprehensive scheduling.
• Coordinate external partners and internal teams for seamless delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and develop solution designs.
• Drive permitting processes with local authorities and mitigate early‑phase risks.
• Implement process optimizations and tactical improvements.
• Make independent decisions within established project frameworks.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and communicate project status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as an architect, engineer, construction manager, development manager, or owner’s project management representative.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale commercial development and construction projects.
