Design Engineer GFA

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our Screening Business Line in Mannheim, Germany. The role focuses on designing generic products that meet customer requirements, supporting manufacturing teams, and ensuring comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform design engineering to align generic products with customer specifications.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing teams and external partners.
• Create and maintain technical data such as calculations, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), technical specifications, equipment approvals, and safety records (e.g., CE, engineering safety).
• Support field engineering requests, including troubleshooting, warranty assistance, customer visits, and equipment optimisation.
• Ensure thorough documentation across all project phases and conduct machine testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in engineering design, preferably with project‑management responsibilities.
• Fluent reading and speaking English at a professional level.
• Familiarity with the Inventor CAD tool is a plus.
