Desktop Support Engineer – Hybrid (Berlin)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join our European IT Support Team in Berlin. The role combines on‑site assistance with remote troubleshooting, supporting a dynamic office environment while working in a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, diagnose and resolve desktop hardware, software and network issues for end users.
• Collaborate with the Desktop Support team and IT Infrastructure engineers to minimise system downtime.
• Set up equipment for new joiners and ensure workstations are fully operational.
• Handle IT tickets, keep users informed of progress and close incidents efficiently.
• Monitor and optimise desktop performance, including shared folder and printer access.
• Oversee procurement, installation and maintenance of hardware and software assets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in desktop support or a similar IT help‑desk role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of internal customers.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.
