DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes

About the role
As a DevOps Engineer at Holidu, you will help shape the infrastructure that powers our vacation‑rental platform. You will work closely with product, engineering and operations teams to automate processes, improve reliability and ensure security across our cloud environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi or CDK.
- Operate and monitor AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Elasticache, Lambda) ensuring high availability and performance.
- Maintain Kubernetes clusters, deploy workloads with Helm, and support scaling and incident resolution.
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD and ArgoRollouts.
- Extend monitoring and alerting stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry) and build dashboards.
- Participate in cost‑review cycles, identify waste and implement savings.
- Write automation scripts in Python, Go and Bash to streamline operations.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on technical foundation with the ability to work independently.
- Experience delivering reliable, secure cloud solutions at scale.
- Comfortable collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
