Director of Product Management – Consumer Products

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to own the strategy and execution of a major consumer‑products domain for an international B2B2C platform. The role is remote, with occasional travel to Düsseldorf or Hamburg, and reports to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, roadmap and priorities for the consumer‑products portfolio.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of product managers operating in a complex, multi‑product environment.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, commercial and senior leadership to translate market and customer insights into actionable product plans.
• Ensure seamless execution across interconnected products, platforms and customer journeys.
• Balance long‑term strategic thinking with day‑to‑day delivery and operational excellence.
• Champion best‑in‑class product ways of working across the organisation.

Required profile

• Significant product leadership experience in a scaled technology or digital B2C business.
• Proven track record leading product teams of five or more managers at director level or equivalent scope.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to dive deep into complex platform, transaction or ecosystem challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to align senior cross‑functional leaders.
• Customer‑focused, commercially aware and comfortable operating in international, matrixed organisations.
