Director – Restructuring

About the role

We are seeking a Director to lead our Restructuring & Turnaround practice across Germany. You will work closely with private equity investors, lenders, boards and senior management teams to drive operational improvement, stabilise under‑performing businesses and deliver complex transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational improvement programmes and turnaround projects for client companies.
• Stabilise under‑performing businesses and create measurable value.
• Collaborate with private equity investors, lenders, boards and senior management throughout the transformation process.
• Deploy senior leadership talent where rapid execution is required.
• Deliver high‑impact, results‑focused assignments directly to CEOs and other senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 12+ years of professional experience, ideally combining consulting with senior operational leadership.
• Strong background in restructuring, performance improvement, transformation and turnaround environments.
• Proven experience working closely with boards, investors, lenders and other financial stakeholders during periods of significant change.
• Excellent commercial judgement, executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in German and English.
