Equipment Maintenance Technician – Automation Logistics

About the role

JD.com is looking for an entry‑level Equipment Maintenance Technician to join its automation logistics team. The role offers hands‑on training on sorting and conveyor systems, allowing fresh graduates to develop practical mechanical and electrical skills in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and servicing of sorting logistics and automation equipment such as conveyor belts and sorting machines.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures, conduct on‑site troubleshooting, and execute repairs to minimise downtime.
• Record maintenance activities, develop preventive‑maintenance plans, and support equipment optimisation initiatives.
• Follow safety procedures rigorously and enforce equipment safety management requirements.
• Create and maintain spare‑parts inventories.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; no prior work experience required.
• Strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English for vendor communication and on‑site coordination.
