Expert Hardware Test Engineer – Automation & MRI

About the role

We are looking for an Expert Hardware Test Engineer to lead testing of our AI‑powered MRI automation systems. You will work closely with MRI, mechatronics, compliance and software teams to design and execute rigorous validation of mechanical, electrical and mechatronic components.

Key responsibilities

• Define, conduct and document hardware test strategies, protocols and quality gates for automation and imaging units.
• Create test environments for in‑house testing of subsystems and components.
• Collaborate with product development, supply chain, field engineers and software integration teams.
• Establish and own the QMS framework and testing processes, including supplier assessments, factory visits and FATs.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in hardware, reliability, mechatronics or system‑integration testing.
• Proven track record leading a testing team and establishing quality frameworks for complex systems.
• Hands‑on experience with automation systems, sensors, actuators, oscilloscopes or PLCs.
• Ability to set objective pass/fail criteria, perform root‑cause analysis and drive design improvements.
