Field Deployment Engineer – Robotics

About the role

As a Field Deployment Engineer, you will lead the installation and deployment of our AI‑powered robotic systems at customer sites across Europe. This dynamic, hands‑on engineering role combines technical leadership with practical implementation to ensure successful system integration in high‑automation production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the installation and commissioning of AI‑powered robotic systems at customer facilities across Europe.
• Coordinate deployment activities with internal engineering teams, contractors and customer personnel, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Install, integrate and test robotic arms, grippers, sensors, cameras and mobile platforms on‑site.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues during deployment and optimise system performance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience deploying robotic systems, automation equipment or industrial machinery.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical installation in robotic workcells.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and system layouts.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across Europe.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ROS 2 and robotic system architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
• Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical and software domains.
