Field Veterinary Scientific Liaison – Livestock (North Germany)

About the role

Join Boehringer Ingelheim’s Animal Health Livestock team as a Field Veterinary Scientific Liaison focused on Northern Germany. You will act as the technical bridge between our swine portfolio and customers, delivering scientific expertise, supporting marketing strategies, and fostering strong relationships with farmers and opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers, presenting study data, product information, and conducting farm visits.
• Contribute to veterinary strategy development and creation of marketing materials.
• Support key accounts with technical expertise during strategic discussions.
• Initiate and advise on laboratory diagnostic interpretation.
• Train internal teams on veterinary and scientific topics.
• Participate in observational studies, data analysis, and preparation of scientific publications.
• Build and maintain networks with swine health opinion leaders through congresses and training events.

Required profile

• Completed veterinary medicine degree (minimum master’s level).
• Extensive practical experience in swine practice.
• Knowledge of clinical study work, scientific writing, and methodology.
• Established network with key external experts in livestock.
• Fluent German and business‑fluent English.
• High initiative, teamwork orientation, and willingness to travel.
