Finance Controller

About the role

You will play a key role in supporting the financial and strategic development of the German business unit for an international company that designs and supplies sun‑protection and shading systems. Working in a dynamic, cross‑border environment, you will partner with the Group CFO and senior leaders to ensure sound financial control and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational financial controlling activities for the German unit.
• Prepare, analyse and comment on monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Monitor performance, conduct variance analysis and identify root causes.
• Create management reports and KPIs to support leadership and business departments.
• Support investment analysis, business cases and financial evaluations.
• Contribute to the optimisation of controlling processes, reporting structures and internal standards.
• Collaborate closely with accounting, management and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a related field.
• Solid experience in financial controlling or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and KPI analysis.
• Excellent English and good German (minimum B2).
• Analytical, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Team player able to work effectively in an international environment.

Required skills

• ERP systems – preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
