Financial Analyst – Operations Finance

About the role

You will support Amazon's Fulfillment Center network, helping manage fast‑moving inventory and ensuring financial performance across operations. The role combines data analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations to drive cost reductions and improve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative financial data to create meaningful reports.
• Drive business improvements and recommend cost‑reduction initiatives through root‑cause analysis.
• Develop and implement policies and programs that enhance operational competitiveness and profitability.
• Lead the creation of weekly and monthly financial metrics, forecasts, and reporting models.
• Innovate continuously to improve deliverables and make them more accessible.
• Collaborate with data source providers and technology teams to ensure accurate, automated, and timely financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results.
• Background in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A.
• Preferred: experience with advanced Excel functions, Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau, and prior exposure to manufacturing, logistics, or distribution‑center finance.
