Financial Controller & Chief Accountant

About the role

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Financial Controller & Chief Accountant to lead financial governance and reporting for its German entity. Based in Wadersloh, the role combines deep technical accounting expertise with business partnering and process ownership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure complete, accurate and statutory‑compliant financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain strong controllership structures and efficient accounting processes.
• Oversee the full accounting cycle, internal controls, audits and finance governance.
• Serve as the central finance contact for regulatory, statutory and internal reporting requirements.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams, finance leadership, shared services and external advisors.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Chief Accountant in a complex, multinational environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to ensure compliance with German GAAP and reporting standards.
• Demonstrated business partnering skills and responsibility for process improvement.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on financial transparency.
