Financial Controller – Finance Team

About the role

Safran Helicopter Engines Germany is looking for a Financial Controller to join its Finance Team. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decisions for a leading aerospace supplier.

Key responsibilities

• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings with full compliance.
• Prepare forecasts, management reports and ad‑hoc analyses for cross‑departmental decision making.
• Analyse operational and financial KPIs and turn data into actionable insights.
• Monitor and process outstanding receivables, supporting cash‑flow management.
• Collaborate with Sales on dunning and collection processes for national and international customers.
• Manage the accounts payable process in an audit‑proof, ICS‑compliant manner, supporting internal controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration or a commercial apprenticeship with a finance focus.
• Several years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in an international environment.
• Structured, results‑oriented work style with high personal responsibility.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Office365).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP FI/CO or comparable.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI or SAP BO.
