Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to own all core finance operations for a fast‑growing tech company pioneering urban air mobility. The role is based on‑site in Bruchsal with hybrid working flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end finance processes including accounting, controlling, payroll and transactional finance.
• Lead planning, budgeting and cost‑control activities to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare financial reports and insights for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
• Oversee liquidity, cash‑flow management and treasury functions.
• Coordinate audits and work with external partners.
• Drive ERP upgrades (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) and continuous process improvements.
• Mentor and develop a skilled finance team.

Required profile

• Certified Bilanzbuchhalter or equivalent international qualification.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and HGB.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting/controlling, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven team‑leadership and process‑optimization experience.
