Financial Controller – VIE

About the role

This VIE position offers a young finance professional the chance to support the Finance department of an international organization. You will work closely with accounting, actuarial and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting and contribute to strategic financial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities together with accounting, actuarial and operations stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly Management Reporting (production, premium, P&L per product) and analyse key financial and operational KPIs.
• Support optimisation of reporting structures, document processes and propose improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts and landing processes.
• Assist in new product launches by preparing business plans, defining accounting schemes and cash‑flow processes.
• Participate in finance projects such as accounting automation and KPI optimisation.
• Produce ad‑hoc analyses and presentations for management and business partners.
• Prepare monthly invoices for partners and support routine accounting tasks including supplier invoice processing, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow monitoring.

Required profile

• Master’s studies in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a team‑oriented mindset.
• Organised, detail‑focused and motivated to learn.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and German is a plus.
