Founding Engineer – Full‑Stack Developer

About the role

Sleak AI is building AI‑powered sales‑training simulations. As one of the first engineering hires, you will shape the product, architecture, and culture while working directly with the founders.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain core full‑stack features (frontend, backend, infrastructure).
• Lead development of AI‑driven simulation logic, scoring workflows, and conversation pipelines.
• Take ideas from concept to production quickly, collaborating closely with founders on product decisions.
• Establish engineering best practices for testing, code quality, security, and documentation.
• Build internal tools to accelerate content creation, scenario building, and onboarding.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.
• Help recruit, mentor, and grow the future engineering team.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience, preferably in early‑stage startups.
• Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks (Next.js), backend technologies (Node.js, Python), and PostgreSQL.
• Product‑obsessed mindset with a builder mentality and comfort with ambiguity.
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with cloud infrastructure (Azure).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with founders and customers.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑powered coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Availability to work at least three days per week from the Munich office.
