Frontend-Focused Software Engineer (All Genders)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Frontend‑Focused Software Engineer to join our remote‑first team in Germany. You will work on new product features, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help shape the technical direction of our web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop modern frontend applications based on clearly defined tasks and requirements.
• Design, implement and maintain REST APIs and backend components.
• Write high‑quality unit and integration tests to ensure stability and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold best‑practice standards across the codebase.
• Support performance improvements, identify technical weaknesses and contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements.
• Collaborate with product, QA and other developers to translate ideas into practical solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience building modern frontend applications.
• Understanding of both frontend and backend architecture.
• Fluent English and ability to collaborate in an English‑speaking team.

Required skills

• Frontend development (JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks).
• Backend architecture and REST API design.
• Authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth2.
• SQL database usage.
• Kubernetes and Docker (nice‑to‑have).
• Event‑driven system concepts.
• CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
• Unit and integration testing.
