Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Root Global is Europe’s #1 primary data collection platform for food & beverage companies, helping customers measure and reduce farm‑level emissions. As a Full Stack Engineer you will own the development and scaling of our web applications, contributing to both frontend and backend as well as infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale software products with full ownership, coding the web application across frontend, backend and infrastructure.
• Adjust and expand the tech stack where necessary, introducing new tools and technologies.
• Set up and improve infrastructure, focusing on database structure, data pipelines and analytics.
• Establish engineering practices aligned with the broader operating model to attract and retain top talent.

Required profile

• Proven experience building full‑stack web applications that are actively used.
• Background in an early‑stage VC‑backed startup (pre‑seed/seed), preferably with a B2B model.
• Comfort with broad product requirements and participation in product conceptualisation.
• Ability to guide teams through technical troubleshooting and provide feedback beyond pure performance.
