Future Leader in Sales & Marketing (Cologne)

About the role

Barilla is looking for a Future Leader in Sales & Marketing to join its Cologne office as part of a graduate/trainee program. You will work on real projects, support the manager, and rotate across European locations to gain international experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the definition and implementation of trade marketing strategies, including listings, POS, pricing, promotions and shelf placement.
• Participate in consumer marketing planning, monitor product performance and market trends.
• Conduct potential analyses, develop customer‑related marketing plans and drive key account activities such as listings, distributions and promotional campaigns.
• Complete two 12‑month assignments in Trade Marketing, Consumer Marketing or Key Account Management, with an international rotation between Cologne, other German/Swiss/Austrian sites or Nordic locations.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a comparable field.
• First work experience as a working student or intern, preferably in FMCG.
• International experience through internships or studies abroad.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills in German and English.
• High autonomy, proactivity, engagement and a team‑player mindset.
