German Speaking Junior Field Sales Executive – FMCG

About the role

This position is a junior field sales role focused on fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Germany. The successful candidate will work remotely while travelling across the country to manage distributor relationships and grow market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with distributors to achieve sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within retail and food‑service channels.
• Plan and execute promotional and sales initiatives, analysing performance to maximise results.
• Collaborate with partners to optimise stock levels and ensure product availability.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and market developments, providing insights for business planning.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and market updates for management.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver commercial projects and maintain brand standards.

Required profile

• Fluent German (written and spoken) and business‑level English.
• Experience in sales, field or territory sales, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Previous experience working with distributors is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills, self‑motivation and the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and availability to visit customers at least three days a week.
