Global Financial Controller

About the role

The Global Financial Controller will lead financial operations for the Bath & Wellness division of Villeroy & Boch, overseeing planning, budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting across multiple legal entities. The role combines global coordination of the controller network with direct financial responsibility for entities in the DACH region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate legal‑entity planning, intercompany relations and mid‑term planning for the Bath & Wellness division.
• Calculate transfer prices and intercompany provisions together with tax and local finance teams.
• Prepare year‑end closing documentation, balance‑sheet reviews and impairment tests for shareholding values.
• Build and develop the Financial Controlling team both centrally and within regional clusters.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across internal and external financial reporting.
• Support S/4 HANA implementation and integration for Ideal Standard.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and risk‑management processes for DACH entities.
• Monitor KPIs, conduct cost‑control analysis and provide recommendations for financial optimisation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate finance, controlling and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑border financial teams and coordinate global processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with cash‑flow management.
