Group Financial Controller

About the role

Join a fast‑growing European fintech at a pivotal stage of expansion as the Group Financial Controller. You will be responsible for financial control across multiple international entities, working closely with senior finance leadership to influence strategic decisions and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end close process, guaranteeing accuracy and timely delivery of management accounts.
• Produce high‑quality management accounts and maintain balance‑sheet integrity across all jurisdictions.
• Oversee audit processes and statutory reporting for international entities.
• Partner with tax advisors on transfer pricing, VAT and other compliance matters.
• Optimise finance systems and ERP to enhance reporting efficiency and internal controls.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within a multi‑entity or international environment.
• Strong exposure to tax matters in multi‑entity settings.
• Confidence communicating fluently in both German and English.
