Guest Experience Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Experience Supervisor ensures a seamless and memorable stay for all guests at Courtyard by Marriott Cologne. You will lead front‑desk operations, handle check‑ins and check‑outs, and act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries and requests.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards data, and ensure correct rate application.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, and cash procedures, including balancing receipts and securing the bank.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing logs, and communicate any security or loss‑prevention issues.
• Assist guests with directions, property information, and special requests, coordinating with other departments as needed.
• Support management in training, evaluating, coaching, and motivating front‑desk staff.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
