International Technical Sales Manager – DACH and France/Belgium

About the role

A UK-based engineering and manufacturing company providing electrical and electronic solutions for various industries is looking for an International Technical Sales Manager. The role is field-based across Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium, with the base in either Eastern France or Western Germany. It focuses on developing new business opportunities across Europe while managing and growing existing customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the DACH region and the France/Belgium markets
• Manage and grow relationships with key customers and business partners
• Own the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract, including proposals, negotiations, project support and closing business
• Travel across Europe for customer meetings, presentations and industry events
• Work with internal teams so that customer requirements and projects are delivered effectively
• Build the sales pipeline, monitor opportunities and contribute to long-term business growth

Required profile

• 5+ years' experience in B2B technical sales (electric or electronic background preferred)
• Strong track record of developing new business and growing existing accounts
• Fluent in both French and German, with additional English
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working independently
• Well organised, with good CRM, reporting and pipeline management skills
• Flexible and willing to travel extensively across Europe, with a full driving licence
• Based in Eastern France or Western Germany for an easy commute across the territory
