Investment Junior Analyst Internship – Lyon

About the role

ARCHIMED is seeking a motivated Investment Junior Analyst Intern to join its Lyon office. This six‑month, full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience across the private‑equity investment cycle within the healthcare sector, from deal sourcing to portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Support deal origination by identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitive landscape studies specific to healthcare industries.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess transaction viability.
• Perform investment opportunity analysis and draft investment reports.
• Assist the team with portfolio company follow‑up tasks and data collection.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field with strong academic performance.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• First‑hand experience in accounting, audit, M&A, investment banking or consulting.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modeling.
• PowerPoint for creating presentation decks.
• Data search and interpretation to turn large datasets into actionable insights.
