Junior Business Development Manager – Sales & Promotions

About the role

As a (Junior) Business Development Manager – Sales & Promotions you will join Westwing’s Special Sales Team in Munich. You will be responsible for planning and executing seasonal sales and on‑site product promotions to drive revenue and support major events such as Black Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Own high‑impact commercial sales and promotions on Westwing Shop, using data‑driven and AI‑supported concepts.
• Optimise automated commercial processes to improve planning, execution and scaling of sales initiatives.
• Develop innovative concepts for future sales events by analysing past performance, industry trends and customer behaviour.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing and Pricing teams.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategic ideas into measurable results.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in e‑commerce, business development or consulting.
• Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of turning complex data into actionable insights.
• Project‑management expertise, able to multitask, lead initiatives and balance competing priorities.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on mindset with a bias toward execution and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
