Junior Controller – Hybrid (Berlin)

About the role

Join BASF's Business Reporting team as a Junior Controller in Berlin. You will develop expertise in cost center accounting, cost charging, product costing and project accounting while supporting strategic financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform management accounting tasks to deliver strategic financial insights.
• Collaborate with controlling units to devise solutions for strategic decisions.
• Work with SAP data, ensure data accuracy and execute month‑end closings.
• Support internal and global projects within defined areas of competence.
• Identify and drive process, reporting and system improvement opportunities, focusing on harmonisation and automation.

Required profile

• Completed studies in business, economics or a related field.
• First professional experience in accounting or controlling (e.g., internships).
• Strong IT affinity and interest in digitalisation.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
