Junior Finance Automation Developer (Redwood/SAP) – Remote Europe

About the role

Join a leading life‑sciences recruiter to support a top pharmaceutical company in modernising its Record‑to‑Report processes. As a Junior Finance Automation Developer you will design, build and test automation solutions within the Redwood platform, integrating them with SAP ERP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation logic using Redwood Orchestrator, Runner and Workbench.
• Create and implement workflow rules with REL‑JavaScript expressions.
• Customize Redwood components for finance use cases such as journal entries and inter‑company processes.
• Establish technical connections to SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC for seamless data flow.
• Design ETL processes to extract, transform and load data from ERP and external sources.
• Build front‑end interfaces with HTML and CSS for Redwood applications.
• Prepare and execute technical test scripts, supporting SIT and UAT phases.
• Analyse defects, resolve issues and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Analytical mindset with a focus on automation opportunities.
• Strong documentation skills for technical processes and test results.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Experience configuring and developing Redwood Finance Automation components.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC.
• Proficiency with REL‑JavaScript expressions and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts and data integration techniques.
• Front‑end design skills using HTML and CSS.
