Junior HR Expert – People & Organizational Development

About the role

Join Welthungerhilfe as a Junior HR Expert in People and Organizational Development. You will support the global HR POD team in designing and delivering learning solutions that enable staff working in challenging environments to grow and succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and enhance the Cornerstone learning management system, including data analytics, process, and content optimization.
• Plan, organize, and manage the trainer‑led training portfolio.
• Support the delivery of online onboarding programs (e‑learnings and live sessions) for new employees.
• Contribute to the design of innovative learning concepts such as AI‑enhanced learning and future‑skill development.
• Co‑develop and pilot a global, modular talent development program.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on individual development measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners across regions.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Adult Learning, Education, Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in adult education and digital learning.
• Strong initiative, team spirit and ability to work independently.
• Excellent intercultural communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Cornerstone LMS.
• Familiarity with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data analysis.
