Junior Research Consultant – DACH Market Research

About the role

Appinio is looking for a Junior Research Consultant to join its Research Consulting Team serving the DACH region. You will guide B2B clients through the full market‑research lifecycle, from methodology selection and questionnaire design to data interpretation and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with clients to create, adapt, and analyse market‑research projects.
• Design studies, define target groups, and determine sample sizes.
• Develop bespoke questionnaires for use cases such as usage & attitude, tracking, concept testing, creative testing, MaxDiff and Conjoint.
• Set up questionnaires and fieldwork on the Appinio platform.
• Interpret results, generate actionable recommendations, and produce in‑depth reports with charts and visual design.
• Present insights with a strong focus on storytelling and clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Sales team on project scoping for new customers.
• Manage projects and contribute to the strategic development of the Research Consulting Team and Appinio products.
• Integrate AI across research steps in partnership with the Product team.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in market research and B2B consulting.
• Solid knowledge of quantitative methods and statistics.
• Proven experience designing studies and writing questionnaires across multiple research methods.
• Hands‑on attitude with survey‑programming tools and process optimisation.
