Legal Counsel (Corporate & Commercial)

About the role

ATMOS Space Cargo is looking for a Legal Counsel to provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice across corporate governance, commercial contracts, compliance and employment law in a fast‑moving aerospace environment. The role works closely with leadership, finance, people operations, engineering, procurement and external counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate governance and legal entity management, including board resolutions, shareholder documentation, entity records, powers of attorney and inter‑company agreements.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as supplier contracts, customer agreements, NDAs, partnership and service agreements.
• Advise leadership and internal teams on legal risks related to business decisions, contractual obligations, liability exposure, dispute prevention and operational execution.
• Monitor and coordinate regulatory and compliance matters, including data protection, export control, sanctions, anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption and other aerospace‑specific requirements.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates, playbooks, approval workflows and contract‑management standards, coordinating with external counsel when needed.

Required profile

• Law degree and admission to practice in at least one relevant jurisdiction (preferably Germany, France or another EU jurisdiction).
• Relevant experience in a law firm, in‑house legal department, or a combination of both.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts (supplier, customer, partnership, service, procurement).
• Solid understanding of corporate governance, compliance, employment law and data protection, with ability to engage specialist external counsel.
• Pragmatic, business‑oriented working style, high integrity, discretion and ability to explain legal topics clearly to non‑legal stakeholders.
