Logistics Network Planning Manager

About the role

The Logistics Network Planning team at Zalando optimises the network setup to balance commercial ambitions with operational capabilities. As a Manager, you will steer inbound, returns and replenishment volumes, ensuring smooth logistics operations and optimal capacity utilisation across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Autonomously manage inbound goods flow, optimise network capacity and expand reporting and planning solutions.
• Direct unprocessed returns to the appropriate Returns Centres to achieve fast reimbursement times and resolve bottlenecks.
• Plan and execute strategic stock redistribution across fulfilment centres to maintain optimal assortment availability.
• Utilise logistics KPIs and reporting tools to generate actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
• Continuously enhance tools and workflows to reduce repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, mentor junior team members and support cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Analytical thinker with strong numerical acumen, able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to build cross‑functional relationships and solve complex operational challenges.
• Solution‑oriented, resilient under pressure and proactive in driving initiatives.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Apps Script or advanced automation tools (plus).
