Logistics Planner – Material Flow & Process Optimization

About the role

We are building a smart factory in a fast‑growing robotics environment and need a Logistics Planner to take full control of material flows. You will be the central hub linking sales, production planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material supply.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage material and raw‑material inventories for defined product areas.
• Align material availability with production capacity based on forecasts, customer orders and production plans.
• Serve as the primary contact for sales on delivery dates, availability and feasibility.
• Coordinate with procurement to define order quantities, call‑offs and priorities, especially for critical items.
• Identify bottlenecks early, initiate counter‑measures and coordinate rescheduling or special actions.
• Maintain and optimise planning parameters (lot sizes, safety stock, minimum levels) in the ERP/planning system.
• Define and document clear logistics processes, interfaces and responsibilities.
• Support digitalisation initiatives, improve transparency of material flows and develop KPIs.
• Execute operational tasks such as creating/updating planned orders and purchase requisitions.

Required profile

• Experience in material or inventory planning within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to question and continuously improve processes.
• Excellent coordination skills to act as the interface between sales, production, procurement and warehouse teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP or planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Inventory management and material requirement planning (MRP) knowledge.
